Full credit has to go to Hoylake who unfortunately could only muster 8 players but still turned up wanting a game!
As this week had it we had a cast of thousands! (Well 22) so this allowed us to lend then 7 players and then game on!

Now with the first half being cut to 25 minutes and a score line of 52-0 I can't quite remember who scored when! But when we did score, it was from clever, dominating forward play, and fast back play.

Second half saw 43 more points added on with the game being called after 55 minutes.

However DOTD needs mentioning.. After the game it was decided that the prestigious title should fall on Mr Anton Williams shoulders for what we will simply call "that pass..."
But it wasn't long after that young Mr Jellicoe snatched the title for himself.
Within the 4ths scoring a hat-trick merits the buying of a jug..
A hat-trick is 3 tries.
Mr Jellicoe scored 2..
And bought one anyway!?
Definitely has the brains to be a Wirral forward!

Its nice to see a young set of back with the knowledgable forwards gelling so quickly but now the season begins. With games against Oldershaw, Prenton, Liverpool Collegiate and Ellesmere Port during the coming weeks, its fair to say that November will be the defining month for this team. Its time to sink or swim !
