Unfortunately, do to a lack of info from young Franklin, and the fact this old fart is helping out the 3's I can only report the score, which has maintained Wirral 4's perfect start to the season.

Just a note to mention, Wirral have now conceded the least amount of points across the Miller Homes League ! only 19 points !

Next weeks game should be a bit of a test against Crosby St.Mary's especially as they're 1st's don't have a game and can come down and watch.

Saturday afternoon means only one thing... Rugby time!

Special note does have to go to Andy Gaskell, who arrived early to "warm up" forgetting he was playing for the 4's, DOTD?? (Dick of the day)

Anyway to the game, straight from the kick off Wirral were away with Jeff Burgess crashing over for the first score in a first half that saw Wirral slip in and out of top gear.

We would go to sleep leaving holes in our defensive line and almost allowing Wallasey to take full advantage, they did, but thankfully only once.

However when Wirral did what were good at, playing rugby! We scored when we wanted with, Dave Longford, Tom franklin twice,
And James spencer going over.

Second half same problems for Wirral in and out of top gear, but when we were there we scored with Nick Styles going over and Tom Franklin rounding off his hat-trick. Special note to Dan getting his first try for the club as well! (Jug next week)!!

Final score Wirral 44-5 Wallasey.

All in all a solid Wirral performance but if we can iron out those patches where we fall asleep, we can continue going strong.
