We really want to get the club house as soon as we can. We need your help and support. The Club will be reopening for business for limited hours beginning Saturday 4th July on a trial basis

The hours will be as follows:

Saturdays 2pm – 6pm

Tuesdays 6pm – 10pm

These hours may be subject to change. Any changes will be announced via Wirral Rugby Club Website

The Bar Committee have initiated a number of procedures to ensure both our staff and members remain safe and in line with government guidance

1. All Members should sign in when they enter the building.

2. All members should respect 1 metre + distancing of fellow members and staff

3. All seating will be outside unless the weather is not suitable

4. The maximum number of people allowed inside the club house is 30 plus the bar staff

5. The Club lounge will not be utilised

6. A one way system will be in place for the use of the toilets

7. A one way system will be in place for the purchase and serving of drinks

8. We will not be accepting cash and all payments will be by members card. If a customer does not have a member’s card, then they can pay by bank card. However please bear in mind there is a minimum spend of £10 for any card transaction.

9. Any bank card payments will be contactless

10. To speed up service we would encourage you to top up your Member card, wherever possible, in advance by BACS.

· Account 85615439

· Reference: Surname, Christian name (or initial) and (where possible) membership number from back of card e.g. Smith. A 01. Without a reference we cannot ensure your card is topped up

For Saturday this should be completed by Noon on Friday and for Tuesday by Noon on Monday

If members turn up without topping up, then we will do our best to top up on the day using their bank card however this will cause delays in being served. The safety of our staff is paramount and for a temporary period cash is no longer acceptable.

11. Please respect our staff and volunteers.

· They will be wearing the required PPE

· Service maybe a little slower than usual, have a little patience

· We are working with the brewery to ensure most of your favourite drinks will be available, however it is not the fault of the staff if some lines are unavailable

· They may be required to give further guidance on a particular day and we ask that you comply with this.

12. Please ensure any rubbish you create is disposed of responsibly

13. We will constantly review the above guidelines as we acclimatise to the new “normal” and Government guidelines evolve
