Another big week ahead, “It’s coming home.”
After a fantastic weekend on all sporting fronts both club wise and nationally, we are in for
another hectic week.
Main event for football supporters will be England v Denmark on Wednesday at 8pm, can I
thank all members and non-members for the support over the Euros, it has certainly helped
keep the club ticking over. If England win on Wednesday, they will be I the Final on Sunday, so
let’s hope for a big performance against the Danes.
Cricket continues to go from strength to strength and there is plenty of action on at the club
again this week. Great effort by the boys to get Saturdays game on, when I arrived the outfield
was good enough for a game of water polo. Top work, top drainage and a great win to continue
our push for the title.
Both England and the Lions are on TV Saturday, would be great to see some of the M&Js down
watching the games, to watch some good rugby in a great atmosphere.
Sunday sees our U9`s battle it out against Oxton CC, why not get down watch the juniors and
have a relaxing morning.
Food will be served by Rob and his team, from Wednesday to Saturday this week, except Friday,
so please pop in to try his excellent food, we already have some bookings for each day, so
please contact me if you require a table. Refreshments will be served by Sophie and her team,
remember it is still table service, so sit down, relax and enjoy a beverage at the best beer
garden in the Wirral.
Update on the patio area, hopefully the bifold doors will be completed by Tuesday and the
patio is starting to be laid Monday. It’s now starting to get exciting as our new feature gets
closer to completion. Thanks again to the three musketeers for their hard work.

Have a great week and thanks for your support in what was a hugely successful previous week.
