On behalf of the Wirral Club Executive Committee, Members are informed that at last week's Executive Committee, vacancy for Wirral Club Chairman was filled. In line with the rules and regulations of the Constitution of the Wirral Club, the Executive unanimously approved of the appointment of Andrew Procter as the new Wirral Club Chairman. This position will last until at least next year's AGM.

Andy succeeds John Ayre and I am sure that the whole Club wants to thank John for all his efforts for the Club whilst he was Chairman. John began some new initiatives at the Club and we have all seen the rewards of his labours.

Andy is currently Chairman of the Senior Cricket and Junior Cricket Committees and has been a member of the Club for many years. He will shortly be issuing a mission statement and he is always available for communication, ideas and suggestions from all members of both sections within the Club.

Andy is a committed Wirral Club man and his efforts in making big changes to the Cricket Section are clear to see. We wish him well
